Overview

Contact information for the Kinana development team is managed through Ibtikar Edu Tech Solutions corporate Office 365 directory. All team members are automatically included in the company Global Address List (GAL).


Access Points

Microsoft Outlook

Primary contact directory interface

Access team contacts:

  1. Open Outlook (desktop or web)
  2. Click "People" or address book icon
  3. Search for team member by name
  4. View contact details, organization chart, and availability

Available Information:

  • Full name and title
  • Email address
  • Phone number(s)
  • Office location
  • Reporting structure
  • Teams presence status

Microsoft Teams

Real-time contact access

Access team contacts:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Use search bar to find team member
  3. View profile with contact details
  4. Start chat or call directly
  5. Check real-time availability status

  • Presence indicators (Available, Busy, Away, Do Not Disturb)

  5. Contact information added to GAL
  6. Organization chart updated

Updating Contact Information

Personal Information Changes

Process: Contact Corporate HR
Scope: Phone number, office location, emergency contacts
System: Automatically syncs to Office 365 GAL and Teams

Role Changes

Process: Managed by Product Manager and HR
Scope: Title, reporting structure, responsibilities
Documentation: Updated in organization chart and role descriptions


External Contacts

Access: Through Product Manager
Purpose: Strategic alignment, reporting, resource requests
